Sherritt Offers Cuban Exposure via Canada

Sherritt International Corporation (TSE:S) is a Canada-based natural resource company that develops and produces oil and gas in Cuba.

This is good Cuban exposure for those expecting President Obama to really continue opening up this political hole.

Do not fall victim to the mutual fund called the Herzfeld Caribbean Basin Fund (CUBA) or other plays. Sherritt is a real company with good exposure. This is a typical Canadian mining play with a huge nickel project in Madagascar as well.

There is big liquidity and it’s well behind the run up in metals prices for this stage of the cycle. There’s also plenty of leverage to nickel.
