Over the weekend China’s leading smart phone manufacture, Hisense announced it will be expanding its offerings of smartphones and TVs into South Africa.

SAfricaHisense will now have built a presences in 15 African countries as it continues its commitment to South Africa.

According to Deputy General Manager Pedro Teixeira it’s important that the company aligns itself with the Zambian market. He went to say that he welcomes customers to compare the value for the money across the Hisense products.

Hisense has had a presence in region for nearly 25 years with products like fridges and televisions. More and more South Africa is popping up on the radar of global companies. The iShares MSCI South Africa ETF (EZA, quote) provides exposure into region.
